Education in the Harrogate area

The education task group in Harrogate have organised successful 'Wish Days' at the Sun Pavilion to ask people with learning disabilities what they would like to do with their time and to introduce them to people who can help.

People with learning disabilities have been asked what they want from further education and lifelong learning, this has resulted in over 130 new courses that give choice of learning at a time to suit the person.

The wide range of courses available cover social, recreational and occupational skills with some of these looking at the opportunity for future employment.
