Valuing People, the national learning disabilities strategy, says that people with learning disabilities should have the same opportunities for further education and lifelong learning as everyone else.

Education is one of the services that needs to continue to change if people are going to have better lives.

The education task group have asked people with learning disabilities what they would like to learn and have helped develop courses to suit individual needs.
