Advocacy can be through self advocacy, peer advocacy or citizens advocacy.

SELF ADVOCACY - Self advocacy is to have the confidence to speak up for yourself when you feel that your rights are being challenged. |

PEER ADVOCACY - A Peer advocate is someone such as a friend who will help you to speak up for yourself or will speak up for you if you feel that your rights are being challenged. |

CITIZENS ADVOCACY - A citizen advocate is someone who usually works for an advocacy scheme who will listen to your concerns and can speak up for you if you feel that your rights are being challenged. |
